About Qadam E Rasool

The shrine built by Nawab Shujauddin Khan in the year 1715, is a unique symbol of Hindu Muslim unity in the region which stood the test of time. Located in Jail Road, Cuttack, this beautiful structure is reminiscent of the famous Islamic monuments in the country. The historic monument has many beautiful miniature shrines and mazar’s which add to the charm of the place.The foot print of the Prophet is engraved in a circular stone placed in the centre of the monument.
