About the Event
The Mukteswar Dance Festival held from 14th Jan to 16th Jan is one of the most awaited events in the calendar year. The exquisite temple comes alive with the sound of footsteps of the maestros and the soothing music which accompanies it. In return the renowned dancers draw inspiration from the beautiful carvings of the temples and what we as audience experience is sheer magic.

Bhubaneswar is known as the City of Temples, the old town part is dotted with many beautiful temples which are reminiscent of a glorious past. The Lingaraj Temple being the epitome. We have jotted down a few of the famous temples that showcase the heritage of the state.
